World Book Day 2025
2E have arrived in school wearing wonderfully colourful and exciting costumes for world book day.
Big & Small
This week in maths we are looking at the concepts of big and small. The children have enjoyed making big and small shapes with their bodies as well as making big and small towers with the construction blocks. Great engagement everyone, well done.
1A’s star of the week
Well done to Oliver who is out star of the week this week. He has been independently using a fork to eat his lunch every day. Well done Oliver.
Fireman Sam is sleeping
For stage 2 of Attention Autism, we played a game of Fireman is sleeping but unlike the dinosaur, when Fireman Sam woke up, he sprayed the children with his water bottle - silly Fireman Sam.
The children really enjoyed this activity and it linked perfectly into our Humanities topic of…
Breakfast and story time in 1A
Wow 1A. Everyone sat for breakfast this morning whilst listening to a story. Fantastic achievement. Well done everyone.
Supertato to the rescue.
This week the children have worked hard to create their own Supertato, making choices about what colour mask and cape and whether they want arms or legs on their potato superhero. Well done everyone.
Mini Moverz!
1A thoroughly enjoyed their first session as Mini Moverz this afternoon. We danced, moved, popped bubbles, engaged with an parachute and jingled bells.
100% Attendance - Well Done everyone
Fantastic. Well done everyone. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and see you on Monday for another fun week of learning together. Stay safe
The dinosaur is sleeping
This morning the children sat for stage 1, 2 and 3 of Attention Autism and they absolutely loved putting the dinosaur to sleep. Little did they know, the dinosaur soon woke up and chased them with tickles back to their seat. Well done everyone. It was great to see everyone getting involved.
Your turn - splat the ghost
Following our Attention Autism session, the children had a go at splatting their own ghosts with red paint. It was such a fun activity and the children kept on coming back for more.
Splat the ghost
We recapped the ‘s’ sound in phonics incorporating it into our Attention Autism session where Miss Brown ‘SPLAT’ the ghost. Look at the attention of all of the learners. Fantastic everyone.
Star of the week
1A’s star of the week goes to Isaac for independently choosing activities and engaging with them for an extended period of time.
