Jake and Jack had a wonderful time in Blackpool yesterday.Here they are heading towards The Grand Theatre.Miss Henry-Riding was very proud of them.
Story Ambassadors Day
Today Jake and Jack attended the ‘Story Ambassadors’ day at the Grand Theatre, They took part in a workshop led by actor Jack Holden, who led a ‘War Horse by Michael Morpurgo’ inspired creative writing session. The boys showed their creative talents and impressed us all with their War Horse鈥�
PSHE kahoot
Pupils had fun participating in a Kahoots quiz.They were very knowledgeable about recycling.
Forest creatures
Some pupils made forest creatures out of clay in Art today.Some very creative models !
Hurricanes
We have been looking at hurricanes in Geography and Phils made their own today.They learnt why a hurricane happens.
Parachutes
Last week 3S made their own parachutes.They could choose their own material to make it from.Some chose tissue,foil or kitchen roll .To see which material worked the best they dropped their parachute with a toy attached and we timed it to find out which was the slowest / fastest to land.
Hierarchy in 3S
During our history lesson today we learnt all about hierarchy and we tried to put our class into an order, some pupils felt a little disgruntled at the thought of working harder than others .

Bradleys work filled me with joy that much it helped him get this weeks achiever of the week.he really put so much time and thought into鈥�
Bradley鈥檚 band achievement
As a class we are so proud of Bradley.
he only joined the band this September but has taken to it so well, as well as going on band trips and joining BASSO out of school.
I’m sure he won’t mind us bragging about his 96% score for his Bronze Music Award.
