Scarecrow Exhibition
Thursday 23rd May is National Outdoor Learning Day. To help us promote our Forest School and Outdoor Learning provision , this year we are holding our first School Scarecrow Exhibition as part of our days events. Each class will create their own freestanding scarecrow, from a theme of their own鈥�
Drama fun!
2H have had lots of fun this morning playing games such as musical statues & Simon says.
The games have helped us work on our 3 Cs - creativity, communication & confidence.
During their lesson, 2H worked hard listening to instructions, used their imaginations to the full & also realised that鈥�
Winter Wonderland
2H enjoyed meeting Santa in our forest school and stroking Prince and Paddy, 2 donkeys who came to visit Park today
2H Maths, Part Whole Models.
In Maths in 2H, we have been looking at part whole models. We used the cubes to complete them.
2H Christmas Enterprise
2H have been making chocolate reindeer lollies, to advertise this they made reindeer masks.
Storytelling in the forest
Today 2H chose toys, to tell stories, using the forest school as the setting. Their stories were amazing and they used the trees, shrubs and logs as magical settings. Well done 2H .
Rewards trips!
For rewards day the children took a trip to Stanley park where they enjoyed the playground, feeding the birds and jumping in puddle! They were super happy afterwards and super muddy!
Children in need.
The children had a super spotty day and look amazing in there Pudsey inspired outfits, they learnt what children in need is and how we help.
Sensory room
2H have been in the sensory room this afternoon, they enjoyed looking at the diffefent colours and lights in the room, listening to the music and feeling all the textures.
New mud kitchen under construction
We are very excited to share that our mud kitchen has tripled in size over the half term holidays and has a new fence fitted.
