2W took part in sports day. They all tried their best at all the activities and got a medal at the end to celebrate. Well done everyone!

In maths, we have been learning about money and all the different coins and their values. 2W role played being in a shop and counting out their coins for the correct amount.

In maths, 2W have been learning about prepositions. We used Grumpy the Rock to help demonstrate different prepositions.

During Arts Award, 2W have been practicing their cheerleading moves. 

In our Science lesson this week 2W explored different materials which were mixed together and how we could separate them.

For part of our outdoor learning day 2W have been making a scarecrow. 2W voted to make a SpongeBob scarecrow.

2W have been exploring their senses in English. Tasting, touching, looking and smelling different items and foods then using this to describe each item.

Some Students from 2W and 2A enjoyed a morning of Forrest School where they conducted a bug hunt and made their own insect hotels.

This week in our maths lesson 2W have been learning about position and direction, directing each other through obstacle courses using left, right, forward and backward commands.

In our Science lesson this week 2W has been learning about magnetism and the materials which are attracted or repelled by magnets.

2W enjoyed dancing to their song ‘Unique’ in 5e Fashion show! The theme was ‘Be You’, everyone chose their own costumes and outfits to reflect their uniqueness!
