Year 6 Celebrations
2R enjoyed watching the year 6 celebration assembly today. We then had a special picnic lunch, a visit from the ice cream van and finished off with a party. We are all partied out now!

2R have had lots of fun this afternoon visiting the new Showtown museum. There will be more photos to follow tomorrow!
HSBC Bank visit
2R had a great morning with Gillian from HSBC Bank. We learnt about budgeting for a party and keeping a record so we could afford lots of lovely things without running out of money. We also learnt that we don’t have to spend all of the money and it’s ok to save any left over.
Interviewing a Junior Doctor
We were super lucky to have Oliver, a Junior Doctor from the emergency department at Blackpool Vic spend the morning with us to see how hard we work. We were also able to practice our questioning skills using what, why, where, how and who to find out about his job. Thank you Oliver, we learnt so鈥�
Outdoor learning day
Today 2R enjoyed an afternoon in forest school making natural weaves on a loom. The children included grasses, straw, twigs, leaves and wild flowers in their weaving. They did an amazing job. Well done
We鈥檙e going on a鈥ensory hunt!
In 2R we are looking at Sensory Poems. We have been reminding ourselves of the 5 senses so we went on our very own sensory hunt around the school grounds. We did this by stopping and taking in our surroundings and were all surprised at what we could see, hear, feel, smell and taste. Great job鈥�
