This morning 4H have been learning how to play the notes D E G A B on the keyboard.
The students then were able to try and learn their own favourite songs by using videos online.
Winter Wonderland 2024
This week 4H attended our schools Winter Wonderland! The students enjoyed meeting Father Christmas and receiving present. They then also sat and decorated some biscuits together.
4H Trip to Barton Grange
Last week 4H went of a quick trip to Barton Grange to buy some plants for our new planters at school by the redeveloped arrival area. The students enjoyed being able to pick various plants that will hopefully bloom in the spring time.
Myerscough - 28/11/24
The pupils enjoyed their college visit to Myerscough again today. They were able to hold a corn snake and Tarantula and they also identified what food was suitable for different animals.
Animal Care at Myerscough Week 1
We’ve had a fantastic first week at Myerscough. We’ve been able to groom Rabbits, a bearded dragon, Guinea Pigs and Giant African Snails. The students already can’t wait for next week!
Music
In Music this term 4W have been using the platform incredibly to create their own song. Today the students listened to each other’s creations and gave them a rating. We had some incredible songs with some really creative concepts by the students.
Art - Print Making Project
4W have continued their Print Making Projects by drafting some more designs ready to complete the project after half term.
1960’s Men and Women’s Roles
Today in our Entry Level Humanities we explored gender roles in the 1960’s and how this is different to now. The children identified that men typically had roles such as builders, bus drivers, factory workers and often managed their money in their family. The pupils also I’d identified that women…
