In the afternoon Oracle students used the materials gathered in the morning to enrich the animal's environments.
Foraging for Enrichment Materials
In the morning at Myerscough College the pupils foraged around the college's wild spaces for enrichment materials for the animals.
Pupils collected bramble cuttings for the stick insects, leaves for the chickens and willow cuttings for the chickens and guinea pigs.

In RE 2R have been learning about Hinduism and have started to make a replica of a shrine for the classroom.

2P created images of fireworks displays using the Scratch educational program.

The class took part in a guided meditation.
4B Computing: Input and Output Devices.
In computing today 4B learned about input and output devices and the difference between them.
The class then competed in a Kahoot quiz to gauge understanding and to show their new knowledge.
4B Life Skills: Water Safety
In Life skills the pupils of 4B looked on the RNLI website at water safety.
They recognised hazards on a picture of the beach, discussed the dangers and learnt that if they fall in cold water that they should stay calm and float on their backs like starfish.
4B Computing: Laptop Independent Skills
In Computing 4B learnt important independence skills around using laptops including turning on laptops, signing in, and logging onto Sumdog Maths website.
STEM: Coin water drop prediction.
In STEM 4M made predictions as to which coin would hold the most drops of water in a meniscus before surface tension broke down.
Students then wrote down their predictions and conclusions improving their vocabulary and oracy in the process.
