Watson Road Park
In our Volunteering session this week we walked over to the Watson road park to tend to the secret garden, this teaches us a lot about caring for our environment and our green places.
We swept the area clean, planted some new plants, watered the plants and flowers. We also filled the bird baths…
Gardening afternoon
This afternoon, 5I have been helping maintain The Oracle garden. They have used many skills such as weeding, sweeping, potting and cleaning.
They have been working super hard today! Well done 5I!
PSHE: responsibilities
In PSHE we have been learning about rights and responsibilities.
Mrs. Swift has given us the responsibility of looking after a spider plant, we potted the plant in compost and watered them. We need to make sure to give them lots of sunlight and water to keep them healthy!

As part of our creative sessions we have been designing a ‘grow your own’ area on the Oracle site. Students have been researching the types of fruits and vegetables that can be grown in the UK. Students have then worked in groups to discuss and make a plan of what plants they would like to grow…
